Therapy for
Children
At GroveCrescent Counseling, we draw from the insights of Adlerian Play Therapy, which emphasizes a holistic approach to understanding a child's behaviors and emotions. These evidence-based techniques are further complemented by Attachment Theory, Child-Centered Play Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Play Therapy, all of which contribute to a comprehensive and individualized treatment.
LENS
Neurofeedback
Therapy
Neurofeedback is not a new concept. It has been the subject of the study of researchers for several decades. Neurofeedback is a method that assists subjects to control their brain waves consciously. In fact, the electroencephalography (EEG) is recorded during the neurofeedback treatment
EMDR
Therapy
EMDR focuses on changing the emotions, thoughts or behaviors that result from a distressing experience (trauma). This allows your brain to resume a natural healing process. While many people use the words “mind” and “brain” when referring to the same thing, they’re actually different. Your brain is an organ of your body. Your mind is the collection of thoughts, memories, beliefs and experiences that make you who you are.
