Sarah Barahona, LMSW Supervised by: Steven L. Parks, MBA, LCSW-S, RPT-S Sarah is a Licensed Master Social Worker Licensed. She is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and families, and has spent years in the public school setting helping young people develop emotional regulation and coping skills. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Houston–Downtown and later obtained her Master of Social Work from the University of Houston. Sarah provides a holistic and age-appropriate approach to therapy using play therapy, sand tray, and expressive arts. Her goal is to create safe and expressive spaces where children can process emotions, build resilience, and develop healthy relationships. In her free time, Sarah enjoys learning new recipes, thrifting, and fostering dogs. She also loves spending quality time with her family and traveling whenever possible. She is currently under dual supervision for registered play therapy and clinical social work.
