Tiffany Nowak is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor and Certified EMDR Specialist, who has been working in private practice for over several years. As an LCSW-S, Tiffany has a very holistic approach to therapy. Combining more traditional modalities such as attachment work and family of origin work with Internal Family Systems and EMDR. Tiffany believes that in order to truly heal one must be willing to start at the beginning. Tiffany is also a LENS Neurofeedback provider and has included this in her therapy practice for over three years. Tiffany enjoys working with those struggling with Complex Trauma and PTSD, addiction, sexual issues, self-harm, and anxiety. Tiffany works with the LGBTQIA+ populations.
Tiffany graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with her Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies. There she worked with the unhoused population. She later interned with a parent coordinator familiarizing herself with counseling those in the family court system and high conflict custody battles. After graduation, Tiffany moved to the United Kingdom and received her master’s in social work from Kingston University London in London, England. There Tiffany focused on working with high-risk children in the foster care system as well as a second internship with young adults with disabilities and their carers. A highlight of her time in graduate school was a specialized interest placement in Uganda, Africa working with The AIDS Support Organization and alongside the TASO social workers. Tiffany’s global social work and counseling experience allow her to have a unique approach to her clients in private practice.
